Works of Fiction

For years, I wanted to write but found that the work I do, programming, analysis, and systems architecture, uses the same mental muscles that writing does. That is, good writing demands technique, creativity, the ability to communicate new insights into old problems and a sense of humor.

It is almost as demanding as a user manager defining state of the art requirements for non-disruptive changes to a mission critical archaic system, in two weeks.
